4th of July

4th of July is my favorite holiday. It was fun being able to celebrate with family this year. We missed Ryan not being with us, but we knew he was happy on his solo Harley trip to the Smokey Mountains!

We started the day with the Kaysville Parade.

Do you think their having fun yet?

Mya's 1st parade

After the parade we went swimming up at Oakridge. It was really crowded, but fun. The kids got to dive for money at the bottom of the pool and scored big!

Jon and Cash (aka Tank). The kid is 9 months old and weighs in at around 22 lbs!

Mya was lovin the water

Jayden, Andrew, and Kobe jumped off the diving board the whole time

Jayden doing a tribute to the late Michael Jackson.

After a BBQ at my mom and dad's we walked over to the best snow cone shack ever. It is in the parking lot of the old Kmart. If you haven't been you need to go! If your lucky you can get the flavor called Silver Fox, but usually it is sold out.

Mollie and Mya waiting for the fireworks. We were able to watch the Oakridge fireworks from my parents backyard. It was nice not having to go fight the crowds up at the high school.

We were all happy that the Physic Ward let Sunee be with us even if it was only for a few hours! Thanks to all the staff that escorted her to and from the hospital. We can't wait until she is "ready" to be with us again!

First Time On Frontrunner

The other weekend Grandma and Grandpa Hammond , my kids and I rode down to Gateway on the Frontrunner. It was our first experience on the frontrunner. Considering all of the public transportation we have been on around the world, this was up there on the list of better ones. I was quite surprised how nice it all was. My kids loved it and had a good time.

Oakley is so excited to get on the train

Kobe and Oakley thought it was cool that there was another level on top to sit

Oakley was having a hard time deciding if she should get wet or not

There was a Sidewalk Chalk Festival going on when we went. They had closed off the street that goes through Gateway so people could draw. There were some really cool ones like this one. I couldn't believe how real it looked.

Mya hangin out with us. She is so easy to take places. She will sit in her stroller the whole time and not make a peep.

Here are a few pictures of Mya. I realized that I haven't posted too many of her. We are loving her. She is the best baby!
